JOBS: Aspiring Cricket Journalists - SEaT Capital (UK)
Closing date: undisclosed
Do you have a desire to become a Cricket Journalist? We run a growing entertainment website called SEaT Capital.
SEaT Capital (Social Entertainment and Tickets) is a small but growing website based on 3 entertainment news groups - Music, Theatre and Sports. We are writers who write in our spare time with the aspirations of following our passion full time.
The reality for potential Cricket Journalists is that without a track record of success, portfolio of great work and a media following, getting into this business is very difficult. We have many aspiring writers who have studied their craft well and are using SEaT Capital to grow their portfolio and hone their skills in generating, building and sustaining an audience as other larger sites have given their spaces to those with even more experience.
The work to be done in order to get ahead in this particular field cannot be side stepped. There is no way around it. With this in mind I would like to know if you would be interested in being a part of SEaT Capital?
The idea behind this voluntary role is to get real experience in researching information, writing it in a way that attracts readers, building an audience as a result, and maintaining the engagement of your audience.
If you feel journalism is where you want to have a career, it is greatly recommended that for your future, you write on a more consistent basis. At SEaT Capital, you will have the flexibility to write anytime and anywhere as publication is done remotely.
We are small, but very ambitious and very smart and determined to grow and be a force to be reckoned with.
If you would like to be a part of something special, get in touch with us and we will welcomingly consider you as a writer for SEaT Capital - admin@seatcapital.com
